  • 2026: Survey and Preliminary Information Form for Titustown
    • With funding from the State, we are supporting a neighborhood-initiative to study Titustown’s historical significance. The project includes an architectural survey of the neighborhood and preparation of a Preliminary Information Form, the first step in determining whether an area is eligible for designation as a historic district in the National Register of Historic Places or in the Virginia Landmarks Register. We will post updates as the project gets underway!
  • 2026: Inventory Review of Designated Historic Resources
    • As a follow up to the 2020 Survey Work Plan Update, we are reviewing all the resources in Norfolk that are listed in the National Register of Historic Places and in the Virginia Landmarks Register. The study will help us understand how many and what kinds of resources are already designated. The information will inform future survey and designation initiatives.
