Office Hours
Our current main office hours are:
Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pretrial Intake Hours:
Daily, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or as scheduled.
Pretrial intakes are conducted at our main office at 711 Granby Street.
Adult Community Supervision (ACS) Intake Hours:
Daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
ACS intakes are conducted at our satellite office in the Courthouse at 150 Street Paul’s Boulevard.
2022 Closure Schedule
Norfolk Criminal Justice Services (NCJS) is closed in observance of the following holidays:
- January 2, 2023 - New Year’s Day
- January 16, 2023 - Martin Luther King’s Birthday
- February 20, 2023 - President’s Day
- May 29, 2023 - Memorial Day
- June 19, 2023- Juneteenth
- July 4, 2023 - Independence Day
- September 4, 2023 - Labor Day
- November 7, 2023- Election Day
- November 10, 2023 - Veteran’s Day
- November 23 and 24, 2023 - Thanksgiving
- December 23 and 24, 2023 - Christmas
Additional office closures due to meetings or trainings will be posted in the office in advance.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, please check the local news outlets, radio broadcasts, or the internet for office closure information. NCJS is closed or delayed in conjunction with the City of Norfolk. If City of Norfolk offices close or are delayed, NCJS follows the same schedule.
