Office Hours

Our current main office hours are:

Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pretrial Intake Hours:

Daily, between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., or as scheduled. 

Pretrial intakes are conducted at our main office at 711 Granby Street.

Adult Community Supervision (ACS) Intake Hours:

Monday through Thursday  from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

ACS intakes are also conducted in our main office at 711 Granby Street. 

2026 Closure Schedule

Norfolk Criminal Justice Services (NCJS) is closed in observance of the following holidays:

  • January 1 - New Year’s Day
  • January 19 - Martin Luther King’s Birthday
  • February 16 - President’s Day
  • May 25  - Memorial Day
  • June 19 - Juneteenth
  • July 3 - Independence Day
  • September 7 - Labor Day
  • November 3 - Election Day
  • November 11 - Veteran’s Day
  • November 26 and 27 - Thanksgiving
  • December 24 and 25 - Christmas

 Additional office closures due to meetings or trainings will be posted in the office in advance.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, Norfolk Criminal Justice Services will follow the City of Norfolk’s official delays and closures. To find out if our office is delayed or closed, please use the following methods:
