Want to register?
Looking to register for programs at the Therapeutic Recreation Center (TRC)? Follow the directions below and join the community today!
Annual assessments are required for ALL participants. Please have your physician complete the form below titled “Physician Referral Form” then you may contact the Therapeutic Recreation Center via phone or email to schedule an assessment. Assessments typically take 30-45 minutes and are required so that our team of Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists can best understand your needs and recommend services.
Qualifying participants include any resident of the City of Norfolk age 6 or above with a medical diagnosis of any form (physical, cognitive, developmental, intellectual). If you are unsure whether you qualify, please contact us at 757-441-1764 or by email.

We HIGHLY ENCOURAGE you to SIGN UP ONLINE at norfolkfun.norfolk.gov!
• Enter username and password under "My Account" at the top right corner of the screen
• Select the "Fitness & Wellness" picture tab
• Scroll down to the "TRC ONLY CLASSES" that are listed
• Add the class to your cart and check out!
*If a class is full, but you wish to attend, add yourself to the waitlist.
**Please let us know if you will be signing up online for the first time and we will send you your username and password.
