1099-R Tax Statements for NERS Retirees

Per IRS Guidelines, all 1099-Rs will be mailed to the address on file no later than Jan. 31, 2026.

Update your address in PeopleSoft by Dec. 31, 2025, to ensure your statement is sent to the correct address.

To allow for mail time, if you have not received your NERS 1099-R Statement by Feb. 14, 2026, contact the retirement office to request a copy.

1099‑R Tax Statements for VRS Retirees

 If you received a retirement benefit from VRS last year, you will receive a form 1099-R in late January 2026.  

 To ensure you receive a mailed copy, update your address in your myVRS account.  Your 1099-R will also be available in your myVRS account by the end of January 2026.
