Available at Norfolk Public Library Anchor Branches and Slover Library Beginning March 29
NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk residents can pick up free COVID-19 at-home test kits beginning Tuesday, March 29, at Norfolk Public Library (NPL) anchor branches and Slover Library. Test kits are available on a first come, first served basis and available while supplies last.
Residents should stop by the circulation desk at designated NPL locations and the information desk at Slover to request a COVID-19 at-home test kit. A library card is not required. Two kits per household are available. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the buildings. Call the specific location for curbside delivery.

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is providing these at-home test kits to participating libraries through the Supporting Testing Access through Community Collaboration (STACC) program. These are rapid antigen, not PCR, tests for COVID-19.
Library staff cannot assist with administering tests and do not have any medical-related information. Ask your healthcare provider should you have any questions regarding the test and results, symptoms, or general health questions.
