For more than two decades the Virginia Arts Festival’s Virginia International Tattoo has brought a spirit of patriotism, pride, and friendship to Coastal Virginia. Sadly, in 2020 the Tattoo was canceled due to Covid-19. Now we are thrilled to announce that the Tattoo will return in 2021, with spectacular performances at Old Dominion University’s Kornblau Field at S. B. Ballard Stadium.

Order now while tickets are still available for this joyful celebration of the power of the human spirit, with inspiring performances guaranteed to bring you to your feet! Here’s a partial list of the performers coming to the 2021 Tattoo*:

- Bands from the Unites States Army, Navy and Marines!

- The United States Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team

- An all-star assembly of Bagpipers, drummers, and highland dancers from throughout the U.S.!

-Chicago Wheel Jam—daring acrobatics performed inside a steel wheel!

-U.S. Marine Corps FAST Company—heart-stopping feats of dexterity and strength!

- Old Dominion University Band and Drumline—high-stepping performers to an irresistible beat!

-The soaring voices of Virginia Children’s Chorus and Virginia Symphony Orchestra Chorus!

From your prime seat at Ballard Stadium, you’ll thrill to the sounds of rousing marches, glorious massed pipes and drums, flag-waving service songs, and more. We’ll celebrate the heroes of the Greatest Generation and remember together the sacrifices that have made our nation great. What a wonderful opportunity to join in celebration! (CDC safeguards including physically-distanced seating and mask wearing, with hand sanitizer stations throughout the stadium.)
