[ARCHIVED] Office of Elections Encourages Voters to Vote at Home for May 5 Election

Request an absentee ballot online or by mail through 5:00 p.m. April 28 from the Virginia Department of Elections.

NORFOLK, VA – Cast your vote for the upcoming May 5, 2020 General Election from the comfort of your home.  Request an absentee ballot online or by mail through 5:00 p.m. April 28 from the Virginia Department of Elections.

Voters may also register to vote and update voter information online.

The Norfolk Office of Elections is encouraging voters to vote from home to limit exposure to COVID-19.

If voters request an absentee ballot by mail, select “My disability or illness” if there is not another qualifying reason listed.
