The City of Norfolk’s top priority is the health and safety of its employees and MEAC patrons.

NORFOLK, VA – The City of Norfolk is thrilled to welcome basketball fans for an exciting week of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) action at Scope Arena.

The City of Norfolk’s top priority is the health and safety of its employees and MEAC patrons. Staff from the Norfolk Department of Health and the City’s Office of Emergency Operations and Preparedness are working with MEAC leadership to monitor COVID-19 in Norfolk.

Scope Arena is a SevenVenues property. SevenVenues maintains a robust cleaning schedule 365 days a year. Standard cleaning procedures include washing floors and windows, wiping down doorknobs and handle rails, and ensuring soap is always available in restrooms throughout the facilities.

Additionally, there are hand sanitizing stations throughout SevenVenues properties. SevenVenues hosts thousands of people at facilities on a weekly basis.
