[ARCHIVED] Hold it right there! Build the Next Retain Your Rain Neighborhood Project

Apply now for a $2,500 grant!

NORFOLK, VA – Does your neighborhood or non-profit want to build a rain garden, plant trees or install rain barrels to help hold rainwater where it falls?   The Resilience office is offering grants up to $2,500 for the city’s next Retain Your Rain project.

Previous grants were awarded to the Northside Civic League to install a food forest and Eggleston Garden Center to install rain barrels at their urban farm.

Interested civic groups and nonprofit organizations can apply online at https://www.norfolk.gov/4780/Retain-Your-Rain-Mini-Grant

The application deadline is March 1st
