Norfolk, VA – (October 1, 2019) – Be a part of history this weekend at the 31st Annual Virginia Children’s Festival when Norfolk Festevents and festival guests will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most people participating in a Baby Shark dance party in one place on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at Town Point Park along the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.
Twice on Saturday, a Baby Shark dance party will be orchestrated by the Hurrah Players on the WHRO Public Media Lights! Camera! Action! Stage at Town Point Park. The first performance is scheduled for 11:50am and the second at 2:15pm. Festival guests of all ages are encouraged to wear their favorite Baby Shark-inspired attire for the two performances.
The current world record was set by the K-Days Music Festival in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on July 21, 2019, and featured more than 1,000 participants.
