NORFOLK, Va. – Residents can stay informed and provide comment on the City of Norfolk’s FY 2026 proposed budget through online resources as well as during a public hearing at Granby High School on April 9 at 6 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to review the proposed budget at www.norfolk.gov/CitizenCents. The site also provides an overview of the budget process and access to the "Balancing Act" budget simulation tool. Residents can also view a paper copy of the budget at Norfolk Public Library branches.
An online public comment form, available through April 18, can be accessed at www.norfolk.gov/CitizenCents. Other ways of providing input are also detailed on this webpage. In addition, residents can provide feedback in person at a public hearing on April 9 at 6 p.m. at Granby High School. Instructions on how to comment will be posted on the City Council’s webpage. This is the only public hearing designed solely for residents to provide input on the budget directly to council members.
