[ARCHIVED] Books & Brew (and Vino too!) is back in 2022

Friends of the Norfolk Public Library’s biggest annual event

NORFOLK, VA—Raise a glass! After a two-year hiatus, Friends of the Norfolk Public Library’s (FNPL) Books & Brew (and Vino too!) benefit event is back!

Books & Brew (and Vino Too!) is Friday, October 21, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Slover Library (235 E. Plume Street, Norfolk, VA 23510). Your ticket includes delicious bites by Cuisine & Company, beer and wine, valet parking and live music by local favorite, Guava Jam.

Tickets are $50 in advance at bit.ly/BooksandBrew22, and if available, at the door for $55.

While you’re enjoying brews and vino, you can also shop for your new favorite book at FNPL’s annual Recycled Reads Used Book Sale. Hundreds of titles in all genres will be on sale for $1 to $2. The book sale also takes place at Slover Library from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22.

All proceeds from Books & Brew (and Vino too!) and Recycled Reads Used Book Sale support Norfolk Public Library’s Summer Reading Program and all of Norfolk’s public libraries. Visit www.friendsnplva.com for more information about Friends of the Norfolk Public Library.
