NORFOLK, VA – The City of Norfolk honors the sacrifice of our nation’s service members during the annual Memorial Day Wreath-Laying Ceremony, Monday, May 30, at 2:00 p.m. The ceremony takes place at the Lone Soldier Statue in Wisconsin Square.
Guest speaker is U.S. Congressman Robert “Bobby” C. Scott, 3rd Congressional District. Feature performances include the U.S. Army 29th Infantry Division Band. The event is co-sponsored by the Veterans Affairs Advisory Commission.
