NORFOLK, VA – We are open! Eight Norfolk Public Library neighborhood branches currently operate four days a week. Barron F. Black, Blyden, Janaf, Lafayette, Larchmont, Little Creek, Park Place, and Van Wyck are open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Jordan-Newby Anchor Branch, Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch, and Richard A. Tucker Memorial Libraries are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additionally, Slover Library is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Slover Library’s first floor is open with the following features and services available:
- Collection of books, periodicals, and audio-visual items available for browsing;
- Computer use, scanning, copying, and printing;
- Meeting room availability on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Children’s Library, non-fiction, and reference collections at Slover Library on floors two through four are available for browsing from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
Additionally, Hendrix Business Center, four Creative Studios and Sargeant Memorial Collection, all located at Slover, have the following schedule:
