Southside Aquatics Meeting Rooms

Meeting Rooms at Southside Aquatic Center

Meeting rooms at the Southside Aquatics Center will be open from 10 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 5:30 pm on Saturdays.

The rooms are available by appointment only and must be reserved. To reserve a room, contact the facility at 757-664-7431 or email Stephen.Rego@Norfolk.gov.  

Rentals and Reservations 

To inquire about reserving a park shelter or host a small or large event within a City of Norfolk Park, please contact the Permitting Office at 757-441-5834 or by email. The Permitting Office is located at Lakewood Park (1612 Willow Wood Drive). Hours of operations are Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Permits

Provides large event permits that require the following:

  • full use of a community park
  • event that requires the use of city property in downtown Norfolk

Norfolk offers a number of athletic fields for rental. All rentals of fields are coordinated through the Division of Athletics and Recreational Sports, located inside of the Norview Community Center. Fields are unavailable for rental during the off-season, November 30 through February 28. 

Call 757-823-4304 and staff will assist you in selecting the most appropriate field for your event.
