Hampton Roads Datathon

Presentation2

What is a Datathon?

A Datathon is a collaborative event where participants work together to analyze and interpret large datasets within a limited time frame.

It's a lot like a hackathon, in which participants are asked to solve a coding challenge, but in a Datathon, the focus is on data science and analytics.

Participants use their skills in data analysis and visualization, machine learning, and statistics to solve real-world problems, uncover insights, and create data-driven solutions.

It's a great way to learn new skills, meet new people, and potentially win prizes and recognition for your work.

What is the Hampton Roads Datathon?

The Hampton Roads Datathon is an annual competition hosted by Civiclab within the City of Norfolk.  Every year, we invite teams of participants from across the Hampton Roads region and beyond to collaborate and foster solutions to challenges specific to our communities.

What sets our datathon apart from the rest?
