Waterside Drive LED Signs

The City of Norfolk’s Department of Communications is accepting digital content for two LED signs located on the Waterside Drive Pedestrian Bridge over the eastbound and westbound traffic lanes. 

Content Guidelines

  • Content is limited to still images only
  • Graphic image size is 22.8 ft by 7.2 ft. SVG vector file preferred or 300 dpi for jpeg. or png image.
  • Artwork requirements: 684 (width) x 216 (height) pixels (high res jpeg or png)
  • Videos or animated content will not be accepted 
  • All content will be suitable for viewing by young children
  • The signs will be operational 24/7
  • All requests for messages must be made two weeks in advance

All digital content must comply with full terms and conditions.

Pricing and Schedule: 

  • $800 one sign for a two-week period 
  • $1,000 two signs for a two-week period 
    • Same content required on both signs
  • Invoices sent after completion of ad run; payment due within 30 days of invoice date. 

Average Daily Traffic Count on Waterside Drive is 32,000. 

Eight spaces are available for a two-week period. The image will display for 10 second intervals. This time may adjust should road closure notices be needed for an event. 

The City will provide courtesy messaging for road closure notices. No additional charges apply.
