- Attend city council meetings or watch them on TV 48
- Contact your city council member
- Get to know your Neighborhood Development Specialist and your Community Resource Officer
- Meet your neighbors
- Pick up litter in your neighborhood or organize a neighborhood clean-up
- Report community issues to the IMPACT call center at 757-664-6510
- Schedule a "Table Talk" meeting with Norfolk’s Police Chief or the Director of the Department of Neighborhoods. Call 390-1954 to learn more
- Start a neighborhood Block Watch
- Take part in one of the workshops or community events detailed in this brochure
