NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a motorcycle crash that left a woman dead.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday, October 25th, just prior to 7 p.m., in the 400 block of Campostella Rd. Police say the motorcyclist was driving southbound when she hit a median and lost control.
The woman, identified as Valley L. Pardue, 63, of Hayes, Va., was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she later died from her injuries on October 29th.
Police say speed was not a factor in this crash, but alcohol was.
The Norfolk Police Traffic Unit is handling this investigation.
