NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police have arrested a 45-year-old woman following a stabbing earlier this year that left a man dead.
On January 8, 2024, around 10:50 p.m. Officers were called to 871 N Military Highway to assist EMS personnel who were on scene for the report of an injured person. When police arrived, they learned a man was suffering from a life-threatening stab wound.
The man, later identified as Clarence E. Jefferson, 57, was taken to the hospital for treatment where he later died from his injuries.
As a result of their investigation, Homicide detectives have charged Shantika A. Davis, 45, with first-degree murder.
Davis was arrested on June 8, 2024, in the City of Virginia Beach and is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
