The Department of Parks & Recreation currently isn’t accepting or issuing permits to Barraud Park for special events of any sort at this point in time. The Barraud Park will be enclosed with perimeter fencing in preparation for the overall renovation and remake of the park. The renovation and remake of the park will be a 24 – 26-month process and the park will be closed to the public during this period.
We ask that citizens who are normal patrons of Barraud Park make reservations and secure permits for our other city-wide parks to host their activities and events. Individuals trying to enter the park with the patron fencing posted will be charged with Trespassing.
