Did you know that the PAYDAY candy bar was named after, you guessed it, payday?
They were first manufactured in 1932 by Frank "Marty" Martoccio, a macaroni and candy manufacturer.
Inventors didn't know what to call their new peanut-covered candy bar, and since it happened to be payday at their plant, they named it PAYDAY.
