[ARCHIVED] Norfolk man arrested for homicide on Creamer Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - A Norfolk man has been arrested for a shooting that left a man dead on Creamer Road.

On September 18, 2022, around 4:00 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Creamer Road for the report of two gunshot victims. When police arrived, they found Aaron W. Leach Jr., 22, of Norfolk, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Leach was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Emilio Rodriquez-Lopez, 20, was also found suffering from gunshot wounds; he was transported to the hospital for treatment.

As a result of the investigation, Lopez was charged with 2nd degree murder and use of a firearm. 

Lopez is currently being held without bail at the Norfolk City Jail.
