[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police searching for wanted hit-and-run suspect

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) –Detectives are asking for help locating a man wanted on charges related to a fatal hit-and-run crash.  

On June 24, 2022, around 8:25 p.m., police responded to the 2400 block of Tidewater Drive for the report of a crash. When officers arrived, they found Karl H. Wilkerson, 36, suffering from life-threatening injuries. Wilkerson was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. 

As a result of the investigation, Marion T. Strong, 20, of Norfolk, has been charged in connection to the crash.   

Police ask anyone with information about Strong’s whereabouts to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 mobile app.
