NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the man who attempted to rob a bank.
On Wednesday, April 20th, around 1:10 p.m., police were dispatched to the First Virginia Bank located at 5900 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. in the Janaf Shopping Center for a report of a bank robbery. When officers arrived, they learned that a man entered the bank armed with a knife and handed a clerk a note. The suspect then left the bank without any money. There were no injuries reported.
Surveillance footage from the bank captured the man on camera.
