[ARCHIVED] Teenager dies following double shooting on E. Tanners Creek Drive

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A 15-year-old female shot on E. Tanners Creek Drive Saturday evening has died from her injuries. 

Around 9:30 p.m., police were called to the 1400 block of E. Tanners Creek Drive for a report of a gunshot disturbance. When police arrived, they found a 15-year-old female and a 17-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The 15-year-old was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving. The 17-year-old was transported Sentara Norfolk General with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.

Detectives ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip by using the P3Tips mobile app.

A tip leading to an arrest could receive an award of up to $1000.
