[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police identify man killed following shooting on E. Brambleton Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate the late-night shooting that left a man dead.

Around 12:35 a.m. on May 13, 2021 police responded to the 1600 block of E. Brambleton Avenue for the report of a gunshot victim. When Officers arrived, they found 47-year-old Joseph A. Woodson, of Portsmouth, suffering from a gunshot wound. Woodson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
