[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police identify body found this afternoon as missing woman

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives say the body found in a pond near the Premium Outlet Mall is the body of missing Norfolk woman, Sentara J. Moore.

The 33-year-old woman had been missing since Monday, April 5, 2021 when her vehicle was found unattended in a nearby parking lot.

On April 10, 2021 shortly after 12:00 p.m. dispatchers received a call about a body floating in a retention pond located at 1600 Premium Outlets Boulevard.   

Norfolk police Harbor Patrol Unit responded and recovered the body from the water.

No foul play is suspected.
