[ARCHIVED] Woman charged in domestic-related stabbing

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A Norfolk woman, has been charged after an early morning stabbing in the 3100 block of Kimball Terrace. 

Police responded to a residence around 4:00 a.m. for a report of a stabbing victim. When officers arrived, they located a juvenile who was suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound. A woman identified as, 38-year-old Tempest D. Uzzle, was also found suffering from a life-threatening stab wound. The juvenile was transported to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters for treatment. Uzzle was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Both are expected to recover from their injuries. 

As a result of the investigation, Uzzle, has been charged with malicious wounding.

Uzzle is currently in the hospital receiving treatment for her injuries, and will be held at the Norfolk City Jail after being released.
