NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Detectives are investigating an undetermined death with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office after a body was found Monday
in York County.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the death occurred in the City of Norfolk.
As a result, two individuals have been charged by York-Poquoson Detectives in connection to the death. Robert A. Carroll Jr., 42, of Norfolk, has been charged with Strangulation of Another, Prohibition Against Concealment of a Dead Body, and Unlawful Disposal of a Dead Body. Kevin S. Dunn, 43, of Norfolk, has been charged with Unlawful Disposal of a Dead Body.
Carroll Jr. and Dunn are being held at Norfolk City Jail without bond.
The body has been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the official manner and cause of death.
The victim’s identity will be released once a next of kin is notified.
Police are not looking for any suspects.
