[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police need help identifying a man involved in a commercial robbery

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are asking for help identifying a man wanted in connection with a robbery at a 7-Eleven on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Around 12:20 a.m., the man entered the 7-Eleven store located at 3800 Granby Street with a handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The man ended up walking behind the counter and stealing merchandise before fleeing the area.

The suspect is described as a black man who appeared to be around 50-years-old. The man was wearing a red hoodie with CHAPS written on the front, dark colored cargo pants, brown shoes, and had a pair of white gloves tucked in a back pocket. The man was also carrying a gray backpack.
