[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police charge 8 people following operation at community park

NPD - Operation Northside Park

NORFOLK, Va. – Investigators with the Vice & Narcotics Division announce multiple arrests have been made following a 3-day operation at a local community park.

From January 15 to January 17, 2020 undercover investigators charged 8 individuals with offenses such as Indecent Exposure and Soliciting a Lewd Act following an operation at Northside Park.

“Just because you don’t see us, doesn’t mean were not there,” said Chief Larry D. Boone. “I want to send a clear message to all those who seek to use our parks for the wrong reasons. I assure you there will be more operations in the future.”

Investigators provided the names, photographs, and charges of those individuals arrested during the operation:

Ronald Calvert, 32, of Norfolk, Solicit a Lewd Act & Indecent Exposure

Dennis Echols, 63, of Chesapeake, Solicit a Lewd Act

Harry Forehand Jr., 71, of Virginia Beach, Indecent Exposure

John Goad, 34, of Chesapeake, Solicit a Lewd Act

Gregory Martin, 63, of Hampton, Solicit a Lewd Act

Tai Nguyen, 43, of Norfolk, Solicit a Lewd Act

Saleem Pettey, 39, of Norfolk, Solicit a Lewd Act

Jonathan Tuttle, 32, of Suffolk, Solicit a Lewd Act
