[ARCHIVED] Police identify two killed in Coleman Place shooting

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have identified the two people fatally shot last night on Aspin Street as 62-year-old Milton Washington Jr. and a 16-year-old male.

Around 9:00 p.m., dispatchers received a call to the 1500 block of Aspin Street for a gunshot disturbance. When first responders arrived, they found Washington, a 16-year-old male, and another man inside of an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. Washington and the juvenile were pronounced deceased at the scene. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives have not released any suspect information or the circumstances surrounding this deadly incident; however, they ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at Line 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3Tips mobile app.
