[ARCHIVED] Man dies from injuries sustained in a shooting on Reilly Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police are investigating a shooting that has left a man dead Tuesday evening.

Around 7:00 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a gunshot disturbance in the 300 block of Reilly Street. When police arrived, they found 48-year-old Terry A. Hendricks suffering from a gunshot wound. Hendricks was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police have not released any other details surrounding this investigation.

Detectives have classified this as a homicide investigation and ask anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 Tips mobile app.
