[ARCHIVED] Norfolk police seek suspect following threat made toward Sentara Leigh Hospital

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – On December 29, 2019, around 8:30 a.m., Norfolk Police responded to Sentara Leigh Hospital regarding a threat made via telephone towards a Erick L. Goodwinpatient’s family member as well as hospital staff. In response, officers were assigned to the area as a precautionary measure. An investigation to identify the source of the threat was launched immediately.

As a result, police are currently looking for 43-year-old Erick L. Goodwin of Norfolk who is wanted in connection with this incident and is facing charges for profane, threatening language over a public airway.
