[ARCHIVED] Man injured in home invasion on 34th Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A home invasion on 34th Street has left a man critically injured.

On Wednesday, around 3:30 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of 34th Street for a residential burglary in progress. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he is currently in critical but stable condition.

Detectives have not released any suspect information at this time.
