[ARCHIVED] Man hospitalized after late-evening shooting

A shooting in Norfolk late Monday evening has left a man hospitalized.

Shortly before 11:00 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of Lincoln Street for reports of gunshots being heard in the area.

Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries at this time.

Police have not released any suspect information and detectives continue to investigate this incident.
