Norfolk police are investigating the death of a worker who may have been electrocuted at JANAF Shopping Center Tuesday morning.
Norfolk Fire Rescue and Police responded to the 5900 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd around 10:30 am for a report of an unconscious contractor who was working on the Tesla Supercharging Center Station.
When paramedics arrived, the man was pronounced dead.
The incident is currently being investigated as an undetermined death.
The worker has been identified as 32-year-old Steven V. Weaver of the 400 block of Maple Road in Angier North Carolina.
The Medical Examiner will determine what caused the man’s death.
At this time, there is no further information available for release.
