Updated Release:
Hospital officials have advised police that the 27-year-old VA Beach man, Anthony L. Long, who entered CHKD with a serious gunshot wound this morning has died.
Last night around 3:30 a.m. police were called to a gunshot disturbance in the area of the 800 block of West 36th Street. Inside a home at this location, there was a party with numerous people gathered. During the party, an argument ensued, and multiple gunshots were heard. Police do not know what started the argument, or do they have any suspect information at this time.

Around 3:30 this morning police were called to the area of the 800 block of West 36th Street for numerous gunshots heard. Once police arrived, no gunshot victims were located.
At 3:35 a.m. a 34-year-old man entered Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be, at this time, non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
At 3:40 a.m. a 20-year-old man entered Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters with what appears to be, at this time, a serious gunshot injury.
Both victims appear to have been shot in the area of the 800 block of West 36th Street, however, detectives are actively investigating this incident and encourage anyone who may have information about this case to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at either:
