[ARCHIVED] Downtown Norfolk SunTrust Bank Robbery


On June 15, 2015 shortly before 12:30 p.m., a man entered the SunTrust Bank located at 150 West Main Street in Downtown Norfolk and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied, and the man fled the bank prior to police arrival with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect has been described as a black man between 35-40 years of age, approximately 5’5" in height, and 215 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black sunglasses, a white t-shirt with dark colored lettering “Living Among the Dead,” white shorts, and white shoes.

There were no injuries reported.
