[ARCHIVED] Man Injured In Pollard Street Shooting

Shortly after 11:00 P.M., police located a 38-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound at 18th and Church Street.

The man was in a vehicle that was being driven by a 3rd party to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Paramedics responded to the location and transported the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he remains with non-life threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the man was shot in the 800 block of Pollard Street.

Norfolk Detectives are actively investigating this incident and are asking anyone with any information to contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
