Update 02/24/2015: Norfolk Detectives have identified the victim of last night’s homicide as 15-year-old Jacquil Harris of the 1100 block of Chapel Street.
Detectives continue to actively investigate this incident and are asking anyone with any information to contact the Homicide Division at (757) 664-7023, or the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
Shortly before midnight on February 23rd, a 9-1-1 caller reported a gunshot victim in the 800 block of Wilson Road.
When police arrived, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The male died at the scene. The identity of the male will be withheld until proper next of kin notification.
