Shortly after 9:30 this evening, police responded to the 9600 block of 10th Bay Street for a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, police discovered a 35-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries. Detectives are actively investigating the incident. The Norfolk Police Department is encouraging anyone with any information about this crime to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Information leading to an arrest can earn a reward of up to $1,000.
