[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police Investigating a Robbery

This morning around 3:50 am, police responded to the 2600 block of Corprew Avenue for a robbery not in progress. Police were advised that a woman, later identified as an NSU student, was robbed by a black male armed with a gun. The suspect took personal property from the victim before fleeing the location in a silver 4-door vehicle driven by another black male. The women was not injured during this incident. At this time, Detectives believe this robbery may be connected with the robbery and shooting that occurred at Park and Brambleton Avenues. Anyone who may have information about this incident is encouraged to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP (1-888-562-5887). Any information that leads to an arrest can earn a reward of up to $1,000.
