[ARCHIVED] Police Investigate a Home Invasion / Robbery

On September 6, 2014 around 11:30 p.m., a call was received in the Emergency Communications Center for a Home Invasion in the 500 block of Nelson Avenue. Norfolk Police responded and the adult male and female victims stated that two unknown black males approached the victims as they were entering their home. The suspects displayed handguns and took personal property and money from the victims. The suspects then fled the scene in a large, tan Sports Utility Vehicle. No injuries were reported. Norfolk Police Detectives are actively investigating this incident.

Suspect 1 has been described as a black male, approximately 30-years-old, 6’0”, wearing all black clothing and a black bandana covering his face.

Suspect 2 has been described as a black male, 5’8”, wearing all black clothing and a black bandana covering his face.
