[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police make arrest following shooting on Johnson Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have charged a 17-year-old male in connection with a shooting on Johnson Avenue.

On December 24th, around 5:15 p.m., Officers were called to the 800 block of Johnson Avenue for the report of two gunshot victims.

When Officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old male who were both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.

As a result of the investigation, detectives have charged the 17-year-old male, with malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a juvenile, use of a firearm, and shooting in the commission of a felony.  

Once he is released from the hospital, he will be held in Norfolk Detention Center.
