[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police identify man killed following shooting on Whitaker Lane

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Police are continuing to investigate a shooting that left a 21-year-old man dead.

On December 18th around 5:45 p.m. police were in the area of Church Street when they heard gunshots. Officers found a man soon after who was suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound in the 800 block of Whitaker Lane.  

The man, who has been identified as Kaiyon T. Watson, 21, of Norfolk, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
