NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are continuing to investigate a vandalism incident that occurred on Sunday evening and are seeking help from the public to identify a man believed to be involved.
On Sunday, December 7th, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the Masjid Ash-Shura Mosque, located at 3518 Colley Avenue, for a report that the building had been damaged by spray paint.
The man involved is described as a middle-aged, white male with shaggy hair and a beard. He was wearing a tan jacket and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and Detectives are working to identify the suspect responsible for the damage.
