NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting on Monday afternoon that left a man dead.
Police were called to the 700 block of E 28th Street around 12:00 p.m. on September 15th for the report of a gunshot victim. When Officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, identified as Montario D. Johnson, Jr., 19, of Norfolk, was taken to the hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
