[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Police looking for driver involved in hit-and-run crash

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - Detectives are continuing to investigate a hit-and-run crash over the weekend that left a man dead.

On December 1, 2024, around 1:45 a.m. police were called to the 1100 block of E. Little Creek Road for the report of a crash involving a motorcycle. When Officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The man, identified as Zachary T. Schonborn, 23, of Newport News, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The preliminary investigation determined that the driver of the car involved had left the scene before officers arrived.
